Climate and Sustainability Report 2021

At a time when environment, and particularly the climate crisis, pose challenges for all economic sectors, Amundi is resolutely committed to meeting these challenges and reaffirming its responsibility towards the environment and society, as illustrated by its latest Climate & Sustainability Report.

This report is a continuation of the previous one while meeting the new requirements of Article 29 of the French Energy-Climate law.

The objective of this Climate & Sustainability report is twofold.

On the one hand, it makes it possible to report on the group's sustainable investment strategy and the objectives that have been defined in order to carry the ambition further.

On the other hand, this report makes it possible to report on the implementation of this strategy: the governance and the operational system put in place for its deployment, the means and actions deployed, and finally the associated results.

This report offers our clients and all of our stakeholders the ability to understand and objectively understand Amundi's approach to the objectives set, particularly in the area of the fight against climate change and biodiversity loss.

Three key figures illustrate Amundi's achievements in 2021 in terms of responsible investment:

  • €847 billion in responsible investment assets (as of 12/31/2021);
  • 10 million of raw ESG data inputs each month by Amundi teams;
  • 13,500 issuers covered by Amundi's ESG assessment methodology at the end of 2021.

The challenge remains great, particularly in terms of measuring environmental and social impact. The “Ambition 2025 plan presented in December 2021 will certainly make it possible to continue to place responsible investment at the heart of our growth for the years to come.
